Leading the way for the decarbonization of energy centers, the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) has launched Arcadia Suite – a state-of-the-art, user-friendly software designed to assess the performance of energy centers (ECs) utilizing advanced algorithms to evaluate the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) and cooling performance. Arcadia Suite represents a significant advancement in the field of energy assessment and verification as it streamlines the performance analysis process for energy centers, including district cooling plants (DCPs) and onsite chilled water systems. It provides operations teams with valuable insights to optimize energy performance, saving organizations both time and resources. Watch Arcadia Suite video here.

“We are thrilled to launch Arcadia Suite, representing another initiative in our efforts to combat climate change and achieve a low-carbon future." said Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD. “Arcadia Suite will enable organizations to make data-driven decisions and improve the efficiency of their energy centers. By decarbonizing energy centers through the use of advanced modeling software programs like Arcadia Suite, we can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and pave the way for a greener and more sustainable future. With its user-friendly interface and comprehensive analyses, Arcadia Suite will be an invaluable asset for a wide range of sectors."

Arcadia Suite has already demonstrated its effectiveness across various projects, spanning shopping malls, high-rise buildings, stadiums, skyscrapers, hospitals and neighborhood developments. The web-based software's versatility allows it to handle substantial cooling capacities, totaling hundreds of thousands of tons. In addition to its use as a self declaration tool, Arcadia Suite is also used for conducting energy assessment and verification necessary for Arcadia certification.

Arcadia Certification, issued by GORD, is an independent third-party accreditation for energy centers including DCPs and onsite chilled water systems. It recognizes and highlights the energy performance and efficiency of energy-intensive equipment within these centers. By achieving Arcadia certification, projects can showcase their commitment to sustainability and energy optimization to wider audiences.
