GORD 3D provides 3D printing and prototyping services encompassing functional metal spare parts, composites and polymers printing.
Center of Excellence
The Climate Action Center of Excellence provides high-impact solutions to support governments and the private sector in advancing the goal of the Paris Agreement through Article 6.
Sustainability Board
Global Sustainability Board is a leading independent body assessing and validating sustainability performance through third-party verification services.

2014Establishment of TechnoHub as one of the largest outdoor facilities for conducting multidisciplinary research at QSTP.
2013Certification of the first GSAS project in Kuwait under the country’s Ministry of Public Works.
2012Collaboration of GORD with QSTP and the University of Aberdeen on the development of low-carbon CSA cement project worth USD10 million.
2012Rebranding of QSAS as GSAS V2.0 with addition of new schemes absorbing a wide scope of infrastructure projects.
2011Rebranding of BQDRI as Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) with the purpose of region-wide expansion.
2010Mandating GSAS in Qatar Construction Specifications (QCS).
2010Registration of first GSAS projects in Qatar, including QP District, Kahramaa Awareness Park and Qatar Museums.
2009Barwa and Qatari Diar launched the first version of QSAS currently known as GSAS.
2009Establishment of BQDRI (currently known as GORD) along with its centers of excellence, Institute, Academy and GSAS Trust.
