GORD Academy organised a new GSAS – Certified Green Professional workshop

Gulf Organization for Research and Development (GORD), the authority of sustainability in MENA region, organised a new GSAS – CGP workshop from 24 to 26 March 2015 at Qatar National Convention Centre.

The three-day workshop which is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of the sustainable built environment practices, was attended by 35 government, local & international professional engineers (architects, mechanical and electrical engineers) representing about 30 nationwide companies from building design to construction sectors.

GSAS – CGP Workshop is developed to empower real estate practitioners and professionals with the necessary tools and means of sustainable development giving them the opportunity to “create sustainable building projects which minimize ecological impact while addressing the specific sustainable needs of the region”.

The workshop is an intensive 3-days training program that offers:

  1. Training to become GSAS – Certified Green Professional.
  2. Latest knowledge and understanding of GSAS green building practices and principles, and how to apply them.
  3. Guidance to GSAS procedures, tools, applications and assessment requirements.
  4. Necessary educational materials to support them during their practice.
