GORD Academy launched the first Workshop on GSAS Construction - Sustainable Best Practices
Gulf Organization for Research & Development (GORD), the authority for knowledge on sustainability in the MENA region has conducted its first GSAS – Construction Workshop “GSAS Construction Part (II)” on 14 March 2015 at the Qatar National Convention Center.
The workshop was attended by more than 60 professionals and experts from different disciplines and representing wide spectrum of the construction industry including but not limited to government agencies, developers, consultants & contractors.
The Workshop comes as part of GORD Academy Continuing Professional Development Program, which aims to validate the knowledge and enhance the skills of the professionals working within the construction industry.

The participants in this workshop obtain the new requirement of “GSAS Construction Part (II)” certificate which is required to all organizations seeking new or renew membership for Service Provider – Construction.
They also got an equivalent of 2 CEUs from the CPD Programs. The CEU is a demonstration of personal commitment to the career and profession and is a mandatory credentialing requirement for maintenance and career progression for GSAS-CGP certificants.
