GORD’s spinout Global Carbon Council (GCC) has received full approval from the International Carbon Reduction and Offset Alliance (ICROA). The development comes after the GCC received conditional endorsement in ICROA’s Code of Best Practice in 2021. GCC’s full approval by ICROA adds to its credibility as a source of high-integrity carbon offsets. In the past, the organization also received full approval under the pilot phase of Carbon Offsetting and Reduction Scheme for International Aviation (CORSIA) of the United Nations’ International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
