The Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) recently hosted senior leadership from Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) at its headquarters in Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP). The meeting served to reinforce the existing strong relationship between the two organizations and explore potential avenues for future collaboration.

KNPC’s latest visit builds upon the successful collaboration between KNPC and GORD, which has already seen KNPC’s projects achieve green building certifications under GORD’s Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS).

During the meeting, KNPC officials received an overview of GORD’s latest initiatives and advancements, driven by its Centers of Excellence and affiliates. The KNPC delegation also toured TechnoHub – GORD’s Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) facility. There, they witnessed firsthand GORD’s ongoing research projects and were introduced to the advanced technologies and equipment at GORD’s additive manufacturing facility, GORD 3D.

Looking forward, both organizations expressed a shared vision for expanding their collaboration.
