The Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) joined the recent Tarsheed Energy and Water Efficiency Forum, where the organization presented its low-carbon solutions for sustainable energy management. Dr. Yousef Alhorr, Founding Chairman of GORD, kicked off the event’s technical presentation sessions.

Dr. Alhorr’s presentation centered on Synergia9n1, an ultra-efficient hybrid cooling system that has the potential to revolutionize air conditioning and cooling solutions. Synergia9n1 is a next-generation Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) that offers an unprecedented 50% energy efficiency improvement over traditional DX condensing units. Invented by Dr. Alhorr, the innovation has secured approval from the UK Patent Office and international registration with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

As part of the exhibition, GORD also showcased its forward-looking digital tools, including the Arcadia Suite and Energia Suite. Arcadia Suite is a unique software platform designed to assess and provide energy labeling for various energy centers, including district cooling plants and onsite chilled water systems. Energia Suite is a simulation-based assessment tool designed to calculate the energy performance of buildings. As one of the key exhibitors at the Tarsheed Forum, GORD highlighted its leadership in promoting sustainable solutions across the region.
