GORD at International Solar Energy Meet

The Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) participated in the International Solar Energy Meet (ISEM) as the event's official Sustainability Partner, contributing through a series of technical engagements and industry-focused activities. As part of its participation, GORD delivered insightful presentations, showcased its energy efficiency solutions at the exhibition, and engaged with professionals and organizations from across the solar and broader energy sectors.

During the two-day event held at Grand Hyatt Doha from November 25 to 26, energy specialists from GORD significantly contributed to the technical dialogue of the ISEM, which focuses on all facets of Qatar's solar energy industry. Representatives of GORD Advisory delivered presentations covering critical issues in the energy transition. One presentation focused on solar energy technologies and their crucial role in Qatar’s decarbonization pathway, providing an in-depth analysis of both the challenges and opportunities facing stakeholders in the sector. Another presentation explored practical sustainable energy pathways that can support the transition into clean energy for a resilient future, offering approaches and solutions for achieving long-term sustainability.

GORD's commitment to advancing the energy transition was further highlighted at the exhibition through the showcase of its comprehensive suite of innovative sustainability solutions. These offerings included Synergia9n1, an ultraefficient, and multi-modal dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS); Comlada, an advanced system dedicated to real-time air quality monitoring; and the specialized ESG consulting services provided by GORD Advisory, guiding organizations toward responsible governance and sustainable practices. Visitors also explored the capabilities of the Energia Suite, an energy simulation platform designed to optimize energy efficiency and resource management. GORD also showcased its end-to-end capabilities in the solar projects domain, starting from project initiation and concept development to full implementation and post-implementation monitoring and verification (M&V). Finally, the organization emphasized its role in supporting various third-party sustainability certifications, reinforcing its dedication to globally recognized standards and best practices for a cleaner, more resilient future.
