HVACR World 2025 to showcase GORD’s next-generation sustainable cooling technology
The Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) has joined HVACR World as the official Sustainability Partner for the 2025 event. Co-located with Big 5 Global, HVACR World is the region’s leading heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration exhibition taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from November 24 to 27, 2025.
A key highlight of GORD’s participation will be the showcase of its patented, ultra-efficient cooling innovation, Synergia9n1, offering visitors live demonstrations and opportunities to explore potential collaborations in production, deployment and joint innovation. Synergia9n1’s multi-modal Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) is engineered for cooling both open and enclosed spaces while significantly reducing the carbon and energy footprint. The system integrates nine distinct solutions, including three cooling technologies and six energy harvesting techniques. Synergia9n1 can achieve up to a 50% reduction in energy consumption and a 30-50% reduction in carbon emissions compared to conventional cooling systems. Its applications span a wide range of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial, and sports venues.
Apart from the exhibition, Founding Chairman of GORD, Dr. Yousef Alhorr, is scheduled to address the event at HVACR Talks on November 24. His presentation, titled “Synergia9n1: Next-generation hybrid cooling for energy-efficient, healthy, and climate-ready spaces," will share technical details and practical applications of the technology.
Endorsed by the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) and ASHRAE Falcon Chapter, HVACR World will spotlight the latest technologies driving energy efficiency and net-zero ambitions across commercial, industrial, and residential applications. This year’s edition of the event will be featuring over 150 exhibitors from China, Germany, India, Italy, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Türkiye, the UAE, and other countries.
