Showcasing its leadership in sustainability, energy transition, and climate innovation, a professional delegation from the Gulf Organisation for Research & Development (GORD) recently participated in the World Power-to-X Summit 2025, held in Marrakesh, Morocco.

The summit, recognized as a key international event for accelerating the global energy transition, was held under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. It brought together influential leaders, policymakers, innovators, investors, and academic thought leaders focused on green hydrogen and clean fuels.

Zaki Mohammed, Senior Director of GORD Advisory, participated in a panel discussion titled “Building the Backbone: Water Supply, Grids, Storage, and CCUS." The session focused on the readiness of infrastructure to support the rapid deployment of Power-to-X technologies. Experts addressed infrastructure gaps, risks, and opportunities in scaling up essential components like water supply, electrical grids, energy storage, and Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) to advance the clean energy transition.
