GORD concludes participation in QIFMCE and LEPEX
The Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) has successfully concluded its highly impactful engagement at the Qatar International Facility Management Conference and Exhibition (QIFMCE) and the LED Power and Renewable Energy Expo (LEPEX). Organized by the Qatar Society of Engineers, the co-located events ran from October 19 to 21, creating a comprehensive platform for dialogue on facility management and sustainable energy across the region.
GORD significantly contributed to the events through insightful presentations, vital knowledge sharing, and the comprehensive showcasing of its advanced, climate-resilient solutions. The conference gathered government agencies, national institutions, and companies specializing in both facility management and sustainable energy, fostering collaboration across sectors.
Experts from GORD Advisory joined a panel discussion focusing on new laws and their role in stimulating the facility management sector, providing expert insights into the regulatory environment. They also delivered presentations to the attendees. The first provided deep insights into integrating building performance tools into facility operations, while the second underscored the importance of driving sustainability through engineering due diligence.
At the exhibition, GORD prominently displayed its innovative solutions suite designed to enhance efficiency and sustainability in urban development. The showcased tools included Synergia9n1, Energia Suite, GORD 3D, Comlada, and its flagship Global Sustainability Assessment System (GSAS) for rating green buildings and infrastructure.
