This project investigates indoor environment towards occupants’ productivity, wellbeing and behaviour. GORD is conducting high level applied research by main aim to enhuance the quality of life through its landmark sustainability system, GSAS. People spent 90% of their time indoor and building performance is strongly connected with indoor comfort and occupants’ performance. Focusing in happier, healthier and more productive users, this research project identifies the relationship between occupants’ comfort and sustainability.

The research innovations include a BIM framework with a smart decision support system to design stage features and help designers to improve indoor and outdoor environment and a correlated mobile application will give also access to the Virtual Community of Practice for the on-site moments that you don’t have a computer. The outcomes of this research project will enrich the GSAS Operation Scheme.
