Researchers from EU has made an exploratory research visit to GORD’s TechnoHub

Research delegates from the European Union has made an exploratory research visit to GORD’s new research facility TechnoHub at QSTP. TechnoHub is the first novel technology-based platform for research and cutting-edge technologies in the MENA region. It aims to research, assess, develop and promote affordable, clean and efficient solutions. It was explained to them, the various research activities that are currently pursued in TechnoHub related to renewables, solar cooling, green materials, tri-generation, waste to energy, and carbon capture.
The EU visit was an opportunity to strengthen ties between the two regions in the fields of research and development, with a focus mainly on renewable energy and carbon capture.
The European Commission visit came along their participation in the workshop titled: EU-GCC Opportunities and Challenges: Sustainable Energy Research to Qatar.
