GORD organized its 3rd GSAS/QSAS-CPD seminar called Sustainable Stadium Designs & GSAS/QSAS Approach on June 2nd, 2012, at Qatar National Convention Center QNCC.
The GSAS/QSAS- CPD Seminar was structured around a half day session (4 hours) hosting world-renowned experts. It shed light on important issues such as the impact of hosting Qatar 2022 on human health, employee productivity and organisational prosperity.
Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al Horr, Founding Chairman of GORD, said: “The development of stadium is about much more than the pitch and the seating around it. It’s about Master Planning, to ensure the Stadium, Fan Zone and Associated Transport links offer value to the community long after the World Cup Finals are over. In the case of Qatar 2022, it’s maintaining a legacy value for African Nations, with whom Qatar has offered to share the knowledge, technology and materials used. “
