GORD in partnership with KATARA, organized a Seminar titled "GSAS v2.0 Updates (GSAS v2.1)"
Gulf Organization for Research & Development (GORD), the authority for knowledge on sustainability in the MENA region, has organized in partnership with KATARA a GSAS Continuing Professional Development Seminar titled “GSAS v2.0 new version updates known as GSAS v2.1”, at Katara Multipurpose Hall, Doha, Qatar on September 19th , 2015.
Dr. Yousef Alhorr, GORD’s founding Chairman, launched the seminar with the presence of more than 70 professionals representing different sectors of the industry such as; consulting firms, contracting companies, master developers, government bodies, building material companies and many others.
The updates reflect on years of hard work showcasing GORD’s continuous stride in developing GSAS by; capturing practitioner’s involvement in GSAS & deploying best practices.
Alhorr praised the audience for their trust in GORD & GSAS which underlines the growing interest in the Global Sustainability Assessment System as an international benchmark for green building development.
The course comes as part of GORD Academy Continuing Professional Development Program, which aims to validate the knowledge and enhance the skills of the professionals working within the construction industry.

- Calculators
The participants in this course either obtained an equivalent of “Refresher Course" or “2 CEU's from GSAS Sponsored Seminar". Both are demonstrations of personal commitment to their career and profession and are mandatory credentialing requirements for maintenance GSAS-CGP certificants.
