Thirty-six professionals from various sections of the construction industry attended the three day GSAS-CGP workshop in Qatar National Convention Center from 6-8 December organized by Gulf Organisation for Research and Development. 

GORD Academy arranges this workshop periodically in addition to other resources with the objective to empower real estate practitioners and professionals with the necessary tools and means of sustainable development giving them the opportunity to “create sustainable building projects which minimize ecological impact while addressing the specific sustainable needs of the region”. After this training and passing the online exam, these GSAS-CGPs are well qualified to play a vital role in driving sustainability move through the implementation of GSAS on macro as well as micro levels leading to the creation of better living environment.

During the workshop, various GSAS categories, procedures, tools, applications and assessment requirements, particularly in the perspective of local challenges and requirements were explained.
