JOURNAL (IJSBE)

Overview

The International Journal of  Sustainable Built Environment (IJSBE) Published by renowned science publisher Elsevier, is GORD Institute’s contribution to robust international dialogue on the subject.  IJSBE, a peer reviewed open access journal, is supported by an Editorial Board of leading international experts in  multi-disciplinary fields with a primary objective of promoting  research and innovations which aimed at creating a sustainable built environment that reduces resource consumption, combats environmental degradation and creates a better living environment  through the reconciliation of the sustainability  pillars.

The journal helps researchers, manufacturers, economists and governments to keep abreast of new developments and join hands to explore alternative solutions to enhance the sustainable built environment.

SCOPE

The International Journal of Sustainable Built Environment acknowledges pioneer research comprising review articles, policies as well as short communications. The scope;of the journal covers topics related to Urban Connectivity, Site, Materials, Indoor & Outdoor Environment, Energy Efficiency, Renewable Energy, HVAC Systems, Cultural & Heritage, and Management & Operations.

GORD Institute ‘s journal provides a platform for researchers and practitioners from all over the world to promote, share and discuss various new issues, innovation and development in sustainable developments.

VISIBILITY

Since 2012, more than 600 research articles were submitted to IJSBE attracting worldwide researchers which resulted in 120 published scientific papers while keeping the high quality and stringent measures.  The increased number of downloads of IJSBE volumes by 2016 exceeded 600,000.  This proves that the International Journal of Sustainable Built Environment has become a melting-pot of novel global research inspiring academics, scholars, students and experts.
