The underground Ras Bu Abboud station is located parallel to Ras Abu Abboud street, north east of the Doha International Airport. The station is a Gold double 'I' type station with island platforms. The station contains a light maintenance facility, washing and stabling tracks in the upper level and the main track to Hamad International Airport rail terminal in the lower level. These facilities are directly connected to the station with crossovers located in a switch box adjacent to the station box. There will be an emergency exit located within the stabling facility.
